Elba Island Mocktail

Elba Island is a collision of flavour: two high-grade black teas, roasted cacao husk from Peru and Madagascan vanilla bean, the island’s most storied export. It unites in a mocktail like a frosted sunset of sweet orange peel and mint. As the layers of taste roll in, mere refreshment will be the last thing on your mind. The mixer is lime, cucumber and mint tonic water, either pre-made or easily concocted using fresh garnishes. Adding a few drops of organic vanilla extract is transformative.

Ingredients

Elba Island Organic Tea
Lime, Cucumber & Mint Tonic Water
Fresh Organic Orange
Fresh Organic Mint
VanillaBazaar Organic Vanilla Extract

Recipe Steps

  1. Prepare your cold brew tea (see our guide)
  2. Fill your glass 1/4 with ice.
  3. Fill 3/4 with Elba Island cold-brewed tea.
  4. Fill 1/4 with Nexba cucumber, lime & mint tonic water.
  5. Add 3-4 drops of organic Madagascan vanilla extract, then stir.
  6. Add 1 slice of orange & mint.
  7. Optional: If you only have/want Nexba Classic tonic water, add cucumber peel + a slice of lime.
