The S60 is Ikeuchi Organic's premium fine-towel range, woven in Japan from organic cotton using ultra-fine 60-count yarn. The fine yarn gives the fabric its particularly smooth feel, while three complementary threads are combined to give the towel body and depth.
Each yarn is dyed before weaving rather than colouring the finished towel. The range includes bath and hand towels in ivory, beige and charcoal, together with a premium bath mat made at roughly twice the towel thickness for greater absorbency underfoot.
Try the bath mat: Woven in Japan from high-grade organic cotton and made at roughly double the thickness of the towel, the S60 bath mat delivers a plush, absorbent feel underfoot—simple comfort, done properly.
Seriously fine thread: “60” refers to an ultra-fine yarn count (the kind used in dress shirts), which gives the S60 its distinctive smoothness—crafted with precise technology and long-held expertise.
Meticulously yarn-dyed: Each thread is dyed before weaving (rather than dyeing the finished towel), helping preserve the natural hand-feel and producing more nuanced colour.
Triple-threaded weave: Three complementary, pre-dyed threads are spun into a single yarn, creating depth and a subtle, sophisticated finish.
